Jay Madhu

Founder of Nasdaq listed Oxbridge Acquisition Corp. (OXAC) & Oxbridge Re Holdings (OXBR) both NASDAQ listed companies. Mr. Madhu has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Oxbridge Re Holdings Ltd., a NASDAQ-listed reinsurance holding company based in the Cayman Islands and he has served as their Chairman of the Board of Directors as of March 2018. Mr. Madhu has also been a director of HCI Group, Inc., a NYSE listed publicly traded company since May 2007, owning subsidiaries including its rapidly growing Insure tech company, Typ Tap Insurance, and its real-estate company Green Leaf. He has also served on the board of directors of First Home Bancorp, Inc., an OTC listed publicly held bank holding company, as well as the board of directors of Wheeler Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc., a NASDAQ listed publicly held real estate investment trust. He attended Northwest Missouri State University where he studied marketing and management.
